For the paddle boarding, there are few areas in the world with more options within a small area than Moriah Harbor. It is uncommon in the Caribbean where one can paddle board from one of the beautiful sand banks to miles of untouched mangrove canal systems.
The protected geography of this area makes it safe to spend hours exploring the area, making it a true playground for the avid paddle boarding.

Bone Fishing
Access to hundreds of square miles of Exuma’s heralded southwestside bonefish flats is just a 5-minute boat ride from Foster Hill via the cut between Great and Little Exuma.
Deep Water fishing
Take a 10 minute boat ride through Elizabeth Harbor to fish mahi mahi, wahoo, or tuna on the north side Great Exuma.

Explore some of the most diverse diving in the world
Located in the middle of the one of the most fertile dive grounds in the Bahama, Georgetown offers an amazing variety of diving.
The mangroves located in the Moriah Harbour Land and Sea park are the birthing grounds for the reef fish in the area as the entire northern reef system is largely unexplored. The canal system that flows through this area is easy to navigate and provides an amazing platform to explore all the juvenile fish.

Sailing in Great Exuma is a truly amazing experience. The close proximity between each island makes sailing to various restaurants or a beachside picnic a perfect afternoon excursion.
For the sailing enthusiast, the northern protection of Stocking Island and sheer size of Elizabeth Harbor make it an amazing place to compete. Every year, it is home to the National Family Island Regatta. Traditional wood sloop racing is a revered national competition and a unique national pastime. It is the only regatta that begins with anchors and sails down, and is an incredibly exciting race to partake in or observe.

The Bahamas offers some of the best ocean kayaking locations in the world.  There is no better way to experience what Exuma has to offer than to embark on your own adventure!
